People Can Be...aarrghh!
People. People can be aggravating, infuriating, and down right rude. There's always that one person who challenges your ability to be kind. There that other person who can turn your nice, pleasant, uneventful day into a drama of epic proportions. Then there's that other person who can take an innocent remark, even a compliment, and twist it and turn it into an insult in a quick minute. Then there's that exasperating person who has no concept of what it means to get along with others. There's always that one person who thinks everything should be done 'their way'. Oh yeah, and the person who finds fault with everyone and everything. What about that person who has no concept of personal space? Really? Could you back up a step please. Then there is that person who seems to actively try to find a way to twist your buttons. Aarrghh! People!
People. People can be controlled by their own arrogance. Sometimes, people can only see things from their own point of view. There are people who need an abundance of attitude adjustments. There are people who are selfish and self absorbed (to a fault). There are people who are dissatisfied and grumpy. There are people who can't see anything wrong with anything they do. People. Aarrghh!
Oh People. <gulp> I do believe that we just took a look in the mirror. Aarrghh! Yes it's true. We can all have some of these characteristics sometimes. We are all self absorbed and self involved; sometimes. We are all unaware of others needs; sometimes. We can all be rude, frustrating, infuriating and aggravating; sometimes. Let's face it. We can all be a pain in the butt. Sometimes. We are, after all, people. Oh People. Aarrghh! People, can't live with um' (sometimes), and can't live without um' (all the time). People.
We all have issues; sometimes. So, when you are having difficulty dealing with a certain someone, <aarrghh!> remember this one.
People. Got to love um'. Who says? God says.
1 John 4:21
"If he won’t love the person he can see, how can he love the God he cant see? The command we have from Christ is blunt: Loving God includes loving people. You’ve got to love both."
