Worry Waves

What do you do, when you don't know what to do? When the wheels on your bus keep turning and you don't know how to get off? What do you do if you don't know what you're doing? 'If you don’t know what you’re doing, pray to the Father. He loves to help.' When you don't know what to do, pray. When you don't know to get off the merry-go-round, pray. When you don't know how to do what you're doing, pray. Whenever you don't know, pray. 'You’ll get his help, and won’t be condescended to when you ask for it.' When we pray heaven listens. When we pray to Abba, He gives our prayers His close attention. He doesn't take our prayers lightly. When we pray God doesn't dismiss our cries. He doesn't think less of us or think we aren't worthwhile. No! He is delighted in us when He hears our call. He is always ready and willing to rush to our defense. 'Ask boldly, believingly, without a second thought. Ask boldly, believing, without a second thought. The very definition of Faith. Don't be wish washy. Don't get lost in doubt. Believing one minute and worrying the next. God has your back. Ask boldly. Believe in Him. Believe that He hears you. 'People who “worry their prayers” are like wind-whipped waves. Don’t think you’re going to get anything from the Master that way, adrift at sea, keeping all your options open.' Worry is a human condition. We can 'worry our way to an early grave', as the saying goes. Let go of the ups and downs of the worry waves. God doesn't work that way. He knows what He's doing. Once we have to come to the realization that He has it under control, we can let go of worry. The whirlwinds of our worry are not an obstacle for our God. He says be still and trembling should cease. He says quiet and our smile should return. He says calm and order should be expected and anticipated.

So...when you don't know what to do? Remember these things; Pray. Pray Boldly. Pray Boldly and Believe. Don't get lost in the worry waves. God's got your back. He knows what to do. James 1:5-8 "If you don’t know what you’re doing, pray to the Father. He loves to help. You’ll get his help, and won’t be condescended to when you ask for it. Ask boldly, believingly, without a second thought. People who “worry their prayers” are like wind-whipped waves. Don’t think you’re going to get anything from the Master that way, adrift at sea, keeping all your options open."
