Have you ever gotten 'the look'? You arrive at a party and you get 'the look'. 'The look' that says you're being evaluated and you're definitely lacking something? 'The look' that says you don't measure up. 'The look' that says you don't belong here. Yeah. 'That look'. We've all been there. We've been on the receiving end, and if we tell the truth, we've probably been on the giving end of 'the look'. 'The look' tells us that we're not good enough. 'The look' that makes us believe that we aren't worthy. Thank God that 'the look' we get from Him tells us a completely different story. Jesus gives us 'a look' filled with admiration and kindness. Jesus sees us and says 'Wow, look at that beautiful heart'. Jesus sees us from the inside out. Fresh and new. A life ready to take on the world. When Jesus gives us 'the look' He sees more than enough. He sees us as worthy and worthwhile. He sees us as ... everything we have the potential to be. The popular kid, the classic beauty, the man most likely to succeed and the woman who has the world at her fingertips. He sees us and He sees all the possibilities in the world. He sees us and 'the look' He gives us is filled with all of His love for us. He see all of us and more. He sees us. 2 Corinthians 5:17 "Now we look inside, and what we see is that anyone united with the Messiah gets a fresh start, is created new. The old life is gone; a new life burgeons!"
