There's a Song for That
Praise your way through it. When everything you can do is done, pray. Let go and let God. Don't worry, pray. The only distance between you and God, is how far your knees are from the floor. Stop, drop and pray. We all know these sayings. We've heard them and we've said them. But...how exactly do we do them, when we don't know what to do? Revelation time, right here in these verses. Philippians 4:6-7 MSG "Don’t fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray. Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns. Before you know it, a sense of God’s wholeness, everything coming together for good, will come and settle you down. It’s wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry at the center of your life." Did you see it? Turn your worries and petitions into praises. There is a song that covers most every single prayer need we've ever encountered. It's out there. Need healing from something, try 'Healer in the House'. Are you full of doubt, tune into 'Amazing Grace' (my chains are gone). Can't figure out what to pray, make it 'House of Prayer'. Struggling with loss, turn on 'It is Well with My Soul'. Worry and anxiety, turn to 'His Eye is on the Sparrow'. 'Good Good Father' can cover so much. There is a song out there. 'Before you know it, a sense of God’s wholeness, everything coming together for good, will come and settle you down. It’s wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry at the center of your life.' Before you know it, you will settle down, the turmoil will settle down and all the worry will turn into wonderful peace. Let Jesus Be the Center of Your Life. There's another one. Oh yeah! There is a song of praise out there for that. Whatever 'that' may be. Google it. Christian song about .... fill in the blank. It's there. Hymns, contemporary, country, hip hop, techno, gospel, rock, or the blues. Those and more. It's out there. Find the one that speaks to you. Listen to it. Learn the words. Find the scripture. Study it. Let it become part of your perspective.
