Pour in Faith
My friend and I were discussing the Woman who poured into Elijah's life today. Although she isn't named, her actions fueled a revival. Elijah finds the Woman from Zarephath collecting wood for her last meal. She is on the brink. She has a little bit of flour and a tiny bit of oil left. Just enough to make a last meal. She believes that she and her son will eat and then die. End of story. Nope. Elijah tells her that God will provide more than enough. More than enough for all of them. More than enough to get them all fed. More than enough to provide for them through the drought. More than enough, if she'll believe. She has to believe. She has to believe and move to release what she has. She has to believe and let go of something. She has to walk in faith in order to receive her blessing. When we pour in faith, we are pouring into God's plan and purpose. When we pour in faith, God will be our source of more than enough. When we pour in faith, we may be that unnamed source of fuel that provides for revival. Pour in faith. 1 Kings 17:16 NLT "There was always enough flour and olive oil left in the containers, just as the Lord had promised through Elijah."
