We are rejoicing this morning. The winds have died down. We are safe and secure. Thankful and joyful. Rejoice! We are rejoicing that we made it through the storm. Philippians 4:4 NLT "Always be full of joy in the Lord. I say it again—rejoice!" A storms end can turn our everyday lives upside down. Lacking electricity can put a damper on your day to day life. Lack of electric power can decrease our ability to communicate. Lack of electric power can determine our ability to control our environment. Lack of electric power can effect many factors in our lives. If we let it. We may have moments of frustration, exhaustion and annoyance. Moments like that are when we have to remember to rejoice! Even in the midst of lack. When the lack of whatever we are accustomed to begins to get the better of us, we have to remember our joy. We have so much to be thankful for. Turn that that aggravation into celebration and rejoice. 'Always be full of joy in the Lord. I say it again—rejoice!'
