We just finished cleaning the kitchen and I am pooped. I don't know about you, but I started prepping for our Thanksgiving meal on Tuesday. Getting the desserts going, some of the side dishes prepped, making sure there was room in the oven for Thursday's feast. Dinner was fabulous, we all ate too much and we laughed even more. Blessed and thankful for the love, laughter, joy, stories, and don't forget the food. Family time at its best. Families come in all sizes and configurations. Some we see on a regular basis and some that are farther away than we'd like, yet we are always family. Shared histories and memories. Some that we cherish and some that we'd rather forget, yet we know that it is the memories and moments of our best days, and our worst days, that combine to make us who we are together. Family. 2 Samuel 7:29 MSG "Bless my family; keep your eye on them always. You’ve already as much as said that you would, Master God ! Oh, may your blessing be on my family permanently!” Father, may Your blessings be upon our families permanently, near and far. May we continue to join together with blessed and joy filled memories and moments as we Gather under Your Grace. May Your Light be upon our paths, may Your hand be our guiding force and may Your love be the first thing others see in us. Father God, bless our families and watch over us, and please, give each of us the wisdom to keep our eyes steadily upon You.
