The Moments of Our Lives
We live our lives out on a daily basis. We make decisions all day long, big ones and small one. We choose this or that, or that other thing, as we make our way through our day. We make choices. We might choose to hit that snooze button and sleep in late, or we may decide to be an early bird. We may be the one who arrives on time or we might be the one who ends up arriving later than anticipated. We choose to shower and shave, change our clothes and our shoes, (usually on a daily basis), as we make our way in the world. Decisions. We all make them each and every day, all day long. Colossians 3:17 MSG “Let every detail in your lives—words, actions, whatever—be done in the name of the Master, Jesus, thanking God the Father every step of the way.” Every detail, all the little decisions, each one of them make up the moments of our lives. Choices. We may choose quiet, tranquil conversation or rowdy playtime. We might watch television or read a book. We may spend time with family and friends or completely alone. Choices. The choices we make during the moments of our lives. Every detail of our actions, our words, and our whatever, is part of our identity in Jesus. Why we choose what we choose, is because we represent ourselves as children of God. Our everyday walking around and talking lives are part of the way we worship the Lord. All of the choices, all of the decisions we make, each and every moment, is part of our daily worship. Choose to make it a joyful, thankful noise.
