• Gathered Under Grace

I’ve been thinking about planting all day today. The rains have been giving our yard a deep drink lately and everything is so green and lush (even the weeds). I was mulling over the idea of a winter garden, as I checked on our newest fruit trees. Everything looks green and nourished, and the harvest is sure to be plentiful. John‬ ‭15:5 MSG‬‬ “I am the Vine, you are the branches. When you’re joined with me and I with you, the relation intimate and organic, the harvest is sure to be abundant. Separated, you can’t produce a thing.” ‭‭ Gosh. We can be sure that God is there when we open up our Bible right to the thing we’ve been thinking about all day. It definitely takes a relationship with Jesus to produce a great harvest. Abundant is the word Jesus choose to use. That abundant harvest means that through us, when we are joined with Jesus, we can make a productive and organic difference in this world. Our branch produces fruit, and that fruit helps produce more branches that then produce more fruit, and so on, and so forth. Abundant. When we join with Jesus we are grafted into the abundance of the Kingdom of God.
