- Gathered Under Grace
Hunting is Relative
Hunting for bargains can be fun and joyful. Unless it’s one of those times when bargain hunting could be considered a combat sport. Hunting up something dinner might be easy enough when all we need to do is head for our pantry. When we must take to the local fields for sustenance is when gathering dinner isn’t so easy after all. Hunting is relative. Proverbs 21:21 MSG “Whoever goes hunting for what is right and kind finds life itself— glorious life!” Hunting for what is right and kind ought to be fairly easy for us. Yet when we get out there in the real world, it isn’t as easy as it sounds. It takes effort on our part, a conscious effort, to be proactive in our choices. Choose goodness. Choose kindness. Choose mercy and grace. Choose love. When we are thoughtful about our choices we will make a difference in our own world and in the world around us. Choosing what is right and what is kind is what leads us to a glorious way life. An abundant and glorious life.
