As We Scroll Through Life
As we scroll through life, we see and read through various posts, many of them move us in some way. They may make us giggle or smile, or they might make us mad or aggravated. There are posts that we share and some that make us stare. There are videos that we enjoy, and videos that make us gasp. Some that make us pause and some that we are absolutely sure Photoshop was involved in someway. Then there are the posts that stop us flat, right in our tracks. It’s that post that is a cry for help, a cry for a miracle, it's the cry for prayer. As we scroll through our media pages, we are given moments and opportunities to pray for loved ones, for our friends, and for the friends of our friends. Essentially, we get the opportunity to pray for one another, every day as we scroll through life.
Ephesians 6:18 MSG “In the same way, prayer is essential in this ongoing warfare. Pray hard and long. Pray for your brothers and sisters. Keep your eyes open. Keep each other's spirits up so that no one falls behind or drops out.” Prayer is essential for each of us. Whether we are praying for ourselves or for our friends, we must pray. Pray for one another, because prayer is essential for all of God’s children. Praying for each other helps to lift the darkness of hopelessness and brings in the hope that changes everything. Prayer is our greatest weapon. God’s faithfulness always provides hope for the hopeless and part of that hope includes us praying for one another. It’s essential.
