The other day, my grandson and I were having a conversation about Pandas. Yep, Pandas. We were on the way to school, not really talking about anything, when he suddenly asks me a question about pandas. ‘Did you know that pandas digestive tracts have a special coating so that the bark from bamboo won’t hurt them?’ I didn’t know that and said as much. As we both absorbed that information, we began to marvel at God’s handiwork. Later, as I contemplated our Panda conversation, I decided to do some research. Apparently raw bamboo is full of poison, yet the Panda is able to process the bark without difficulty. We can’t see their unique digestive tracts, yet we know that they have been specifically designed for that purpose. Unique and beautifully designed for a purpose. God's handiwork is always marvelous and wonderful. Ephesians 2:10 NLT “For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.” Just like the Pandas, even when we can’t see that purpose in action for ourselves, we can be assured that God’s plan is at work in our lives. We can be assured that God’s plans for us are good; to care for us and to help us achieve our purpose. Plans that are full of His hope and a love that we can count on. We are created anew in Jesus, so that we can do all kinds of wonderful and marvelous things. As individuals, each of us is created as a unique and beautiful masterpiece; a portrait of God’s presence and purpose for our lives.
