A Muddled Up Mess Combo Kind of Day
When we find ourselves struggling to make a decision, we pray. When we find ourselves going through a trial we pray. When we find ourselves in an unexpected situation, we pray. When we find ourselves in the middle of a muddled up mess, we pray. When we find ourselves going through a trial, in an unexpected situation, trying to make good decisions, and in the middle of a combo muddled up mess kind of day, we pray AND we ask our friends to pray with us.
Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 NLT “Two people are better off than one, for they can help each other succeed. If one person falls, the other can reach out and help. But someone who falls alone is in real trouble.” Romans 8:26-27 NLT “And the Holy Spirit helps us in our weakness. For example, we don’t know what God wants us to pray for. But the Holy Spirit prays for us with groanings that cannot be expressed in words. And the Father who knows all hearts knows what the Spirit is saying, for the Spirit pleads for us believers in harmony with God’s own will.” We can occasionally have a combo muddled up mess kind of day. When that combo muddled up and messed up kind of day comes, we should pray, and we should reach out to our people to pray with us. A quick text. ‘Pray for me.’ ‘I need some prayer.’ ‘Help. Prayer needed.’ That’s all it takes. The details are not necessary, but the prayers are. When we pray with and for one another, we are never going it alone. When we don’t know what to pray, the Holy Spirit knows our needs. Ask for help. ‘Help me Holy Spirit’ and our Father’s ears will be burning with our needs. Pray, pray, pray, and pray and pray for one another. Prayer is the best way out of any combination of a muddled up mess kind of day.
