The time change has hit us again. Losing that hour feels like a good portion of our day has been obscured from our perspective. Lingering tiredness tugs at our bodies as if we’d lost a week instead of an hour. The coming days will seem to be harder than we expect but we will get ourselves in gear and keep moving forward. Springing forward always seems harder than falling backwards. 2 Corinthians 5:7 AMP “for we walk by faith, not by sight [living our lives in a manner consistent with our confident belief in God’s promises]--” Just as with the time change, we may find it harder to take a leap of faith into something new. Yes, when we take that leap, when we spring forward, our perspective may become temporarily impaired. The days may take more energy and our time may feel out of whack. We may need to push ourselves and keep moving forward. In the meantime we believe that new possibilities are there, even if we can’t see them yet. We believe that God’s promises are possible. We believe that God’s promises are steadfast. We stand firmly and faithfully believing in the possibilities. Faithfully believing that the possibilities that God has placed in our hearts are just a footfall away. We may not be able to see where we are going, but our God does. God sees us, our hope and our dreams, our possibilities; all of it. God sees it all; He sees and He knows and He is there to be our guide and our hope as we take each step. Spring forward into all that God will provide.
