Faith like a Child
Life with an inquisitive child can be amusing and oh so very interesting. Their questions can surprise us at their depth, and yet their own answers can also stir our hearts. Questions and answers that are inquiring and surprisingly thoughtful. Why do we remember to breath without thinking about it? I bet there is a reason God did that, because that would be a lot to think about all the time. I think God likes to color. You know why I know? Just look around. Haven't you ever looked at a butterfly? They are really colorful. Bugs too. There are lots of cool colors everywhere. The sky and the trees; just look around. There is a colorful world all around us. Jesus loves me and I know that He does because He said so. 1 Peter 1:8-9 MSG "You never saw him, yet you love him. You still don’t see him, yet you trust him—with laughter and singing. Because you kept on believing, you’ll get what you’re looking forward to: total salvation." Faith like a little child. It may be completely inexplicable yet always just right. Faith like a child. It’s easy and breezy and has such a great lesson to teach us. Faith like a child. You've never seen Him, yet you love and trust Him. Faith like a child. With laughter and singing. Faith like a child. Keep on believing. Faith like a child. May we each trust Jesus like a child; we are after all children of God.
