Justice

Justice is defined as just behavior or treatment. As unlikely as it sounds, justice is a two way street. It’s about how we behavior and it’s about how we treat others. As God’s chosen people, our lives should also be about how we behave and how we treat others.

Hebrews 1:9 NLT

“You love justice and hate evil. Therefore, O God, your God has anointed you, pouring out the oil of joy on you more than on anyone else.”

As God’s people’s we should love justice and hate evil, and yet we may find ourselves questioning our views of right and wrong. When we have questions about any given situation, we must reference our best guide, and that my friends, is the Word of God. As I looked up the word ‘justice’ today I was struck my the repeated thought of treating others with kindness and grace. There were 173 references to justice in the NLT, 181 in the AMP and 81 in the MSG. Justice is God’s domain. He is an expert. Search His Word, and ask Him to search your heart.
