No Power can be Powerful
Today was a hot one. As the day started out, my husband and I had the privilege of serving as a greeter at a community event honoring our 1st responders. The sun was shining, music was playing and the grill was pumping out burgers and dogs. The dunk tank and the bounce house were in full tilt with a wide array of customers. A good friend was playing her guitar just as the power suddenly failed. She kept right on playing and the Lord was blessed. Today, the power might have failed but God’s plan stayed right on track. Jesus and some of the most amazingly delicious ice cream were the main events.
Matthew 28:20 TPT
“And teach them to faithfully follow all that I have commanded you. And never forget that I am with you every day, even to the completion of this age.”
Team work is a great way to complete the work that Jesus calls on us to do. As we gathered together today, each having their assigned duties, we made an impact on lives for God’s glory. The love of God was shared with our guests and with one another. Love God, love others. A truth learned today; even if the power fails, God’s power is never quelled. Jesus promises this; never forget that I am with you every day (and even during a power failure).
