Revealed and Recognized
Goodness knows that we should be praying for one another, especially in these trying days. Our fruit (those would be ... love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control) may be hard to find, and harder to reach, but we are still required to stand, even if it means we are standing on our tippy toes, utilizing every bit of our inner strength, to overcome every obstacle, in our goal to reach and use them. This ... these verses ... are a prayer that we can pray for ourselves and for each other every day.
Philippians 1:9-11 AMP
“And this I pray, that your (our) love may abound more and more [displaying itself in greater depth] in real knowledge and in practical insight, so that you (or I) may learn to recognize and treasure what is excellent [identifying the best, and distinguishing moral differences], and that you (or I) may be pure and blameless until the day of Christ [actually living lives that lead others away from sin]; filled with the fruit of righteousness which comes through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God [so that His glory may be both revealed and recognized].”
That’s the goal folks ... that HIS glory may be BOTH revealed and recognized in our attitudes and actions. May we each be filled with all the fruit, easy to reach and utilize.
