We have been cutting up trees and hauling brush for days. The tree tops are especially challenging. They are suspended in the air tangled in vines. It has been time consuming and very hard work. There are still several days of cutting and hauling to go, but like that little ant, we are getting a little bit finished every day.
We are also very grateful and thankful. Our family and extended families are safe and our homes have little to no damage. Some us have electricity and some of us don't, but we continue to go about our daily lives with hope and faith.
Psalm 18:1 MSG
"I love you, God— you make me strong. God is bedrock under my feet, the castle in which I live, my rescuing knight.
Hope with plenty of faith is how we ought to go about our day to day lives. Hopeful that the future will be bright, and the faith to stand no matter what comes our way. God is the bedrock under our feet. When circumstances come our way that are challenging, we keep on keeping on, because we have faith. We can stand firmly believing that God will give us the grace and strength that we need to get through every circumstance that we might face. Tomorrow will come, the sun will rise and we will get about the job of living. With hope and faith we will make the best of our day, no matter our circumstances, because we know that God will be there.
