We receive reports of all kinds and from all types of sources, on any given day. The news reports verses the fake news reports, from radio to television to any social media platform we might choose. Every one of them has a report about something; anything from what someone ate for dinner to important and relevant world reports. Reports may come by word of mouth, from texts, telephones and even the occasional (wink wink) in person conversation. We are hearing reports from all and any side on any given day all the day long.
“I have heard a report from the LORD ...”
Jeremiah 49:14 AMP
The Lord’s reports are the ones we should be listening to. He can always be counted on for truth and guidance. He will lead us on paths that will guide us through the tough times and bless us always. He will strengthen our resolve and offers us comfort, hope and cheer.
Psalms 94:19 NLT
“When doubts filled my mind, your comfort gave me renewed hope and cheer.”
Jesus loves us. The worlds reports may leave us filled with doubt and questions, but the Lord’s report has the opposite effect. His Hope is genuine and enduring. His cheer fills us with joy. We have heard the report of the Lord and we are filled with hope and cheer.
