Sometimes things don’t work just the way we anticipate that they will work. Whether it’s our schedule, our appointment wait time, the enormous line at the DMV, or just making it home in a reasonable amount of time during rush hour, our time management is important to us. Starting our day off right helps us stay on track, especially when we end up getting off track somewhere along the way.
To that end, I want to be proactive and help make our daily devotional time productive. I’ve recently received several notifications from people that their devotional isn’t always available in their morning email. Please know that the Gathered Under Grace devotional is sent out every day. Rain or shine, it is transmitted through our website directly to your email address. You should always receive one in your inbox. If you don't, there was an error in the transmission process.
So, after a few notifications, I started to research the issue. Naturally, I subscribe too, and I have had the same issue (smiley face). At first, I couldn’t figure it out, when low and behold, there they were in my spam folder. (FYI - Google mail usually moves it into the promotions folder.) After taking the opportunity to moved each one back into my primary inbox, the issue seems to have resolved. At least for now. If you’ve had this issue, this might be the solution, or you may need to mark them as ‘not spam’. Who knows why it happens sometimes and not other times, but please be aware there is always the option of going directly to the website at www.gatheredundergrace.com in order to access the devotional directly.
Galatians 6:9 NLT
“So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up.”
