We’ve all seen the videos of kids dancing like they learned how before they were born, acting out a great movie moment like a pro, catching a giant fish on their first time out, and of course, singing their little hearts out. It might have been on Little Big Shots or another on line source, but we’ve seen some great kid doing something equally special. Whether they are singing a Disney movie song, The Star Spangled Banner or that crazy jumping on the bed monkey song, it’s always unique. This time, however, it was quite the spectacular moment. As I was strolling through Facebook, I happened across a video of a little girl’s song. She was maybe four years old, singing clearly and on key (for the most part) at church. This child was very beautifully delivering ‘Jesus at the Center’ with her whole heart.
Philippians 4:7 MSG
“It’s wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry at the center of your life.”
As Jesus reminds us in Matthew 21:16, out of the mouths of babes we shall hear the truth. When we put Jesus at the center of all that we think and do, He displaces our worry with something wonderful. Think, work, read, sleep, study, laugh, shop, eat, contemplate and sing about Jesus. Put Jesus at the center of all that we do, and then do life with our whole heart. When we make Jesus our center, something wonderful is happening.
