Recently, I was searching for some items that were put away in a safe place. Yep, you guessed it; I had forgotten where the safe place was located. Searching for the hidden place can be fun. As I muddled along searching, I found other things that had also been put away in that safe place. Interesting things, and missing things and things I didn't even remember that I had hidden away. As I was searching and discovering all these hidden away things, I was reminded of this verse.

Psalms‬ ‭119:11‬ ‭NLT‬‬
“I have hidden your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you.”
When we hide God’s Word in our heart, the intention is that we can easily access the Word as we need it in our lives. When the instruction, inspiration and guidance are needed, we can easily recall them. The Word we hold in our hearts will influence our attitudes and help us restructure our responses to reflect the Word that we know. Hiding the Word of God in our heart is a good thing, a fun thing, and the best part is that it helps us navigate our daily journey with joy.
