Whew! What a day and the worst part is; it’s not over yet. We all have those kinds of days when we feel like we are putting out fires all day long. We run from one unexpected event to the next, lassoing the wild and crazy, until things finally settle down. We take a deep breath and thank God for the fortitude and then off we go again; on to the next challenge. Sometimes just braving the day can be exhausting. Thank God we have God, and we have His hope to get us through the day.
Romans 12:12 NLT
“Rejoice in our confident hope. Be patient in trouble, and keep on praying.”
We can be hopeful in the knowledge that the way we are walking is the way God’s hand is leading us. We can be hopeful and attuned to the Holy Spirit for guidance and encouragement. We can be hopeful and thankful for God’s grace and mercy as we patiently move from one task to the next. We can be hopeful as we pray with every step that we take and with every decision that we make. We can be hopeful because we are confident in God. Keep on praying!
