Isaiah 25:1 KJV
“O Lord, thou art my God; I will exalt thee, I will praise thy name; for thou hast done wonderful things; thy counsels of old are faithfulness and truth.”
Do ever break out into praise as you’re reading the Word? As I was reading this verse today, I started singing right away. ‘God, You are my God and I will ever praise you’ (lyrics from the song Step by Step). It is amazing how many different ways the Word gets into our spirits. The Word is so very valuable. The Word develops and grows our relationship with our God. The Word is the place to search out and find wisdom and revelation. The Word allows us to know the truth. The Word helps us climb back up again when we fall. The Word teaches us how to put down our junk, our struggles and our troubles as we find rest in God’s truth. The Word is a place of refuge and refreshing. When we rest in the Word we learn how to ‘Let go and let God’. The Word teaches us that we can leave it all at the foot of the cross. Thank You Jesus. ‘God, You are my God, and I will ever praise You’.
