We all may experience difficult paths. Health issues, a financial crisis, bad news, a personal crossroad. We’ve all been there. Walking a difficult path can be taxing. The situation itself can prey on our energy and then it begins to tackle our reserves. We can feel like we are walking around in mud, uphill and the rise is no where in sight.
Isaiah 43:2 NLT
“When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you.”
God’s plans for us are good. We may be walking through the worst kind of storm, yet we can still depend upon God to help us find the right way through. We will not drown, we will not burn up, and we cannot be consumed; because God promises us that He will be there with us. He may not quench the fire, but He promises that we won’t burn up. He may not still the waters, but He will not let us drown. God will persevere with us; and when we persevere with God, we will get to the rise and see the mountaintop once again. Remember God’s promises; no valley is too deep, no mountain is too high and no ocean is so wide, that the hand of our God cannot reach us.
