There is no rhyme or reason to the trouble. Some of us experience more trouble than others, and some of us experience less. It's not about the trouble. It's not about the thing that we experience, it’s about how we get back up again. In this world you will have troubles, trials and tribulations. It's a simple fact of life, and Jesus even tells us about it in the Bible. In John 16:33 Jesus tells us that we will experience difficulties. We live in the world, therefore, we will experience the world. The good, the bad and the difficult.
John 16:33 MSG
"I’ve told you all this so that trusting me, you will be unshakable and assured, deeply at peace. In this godless world you will continue to experience difficulties. But take heart! I’ve conquered the world.”
Jesus said 'I’ve told you all this so that trusting me, you will be unshakable and assured, deeply at peace.' Unshakable and unmovable, assured and at peace. When troubles comes, we may fall to pieces for a time, but it's all about that moment when His peace overtakes us. It’s all about that moment when we get back up on our feet and knock the dust from our knees. It’s all about that moment when we know that we trust the Guy who conquered the world. When difficulties come take heart, because Jesus has overcome the world. Trust Jesus and let His peace overtake the troubles of the world.
